Throwing daggers/ throwing spikes. I'm not sure which ones these are, but it shouldn't matter that much. They're things with a sharp end, that rotate while they're flying through the air. They're thrown straight forward, in fast or slow succession, immediately after turning, or with a sword held ready in the other hand.
Supposedly, these weren't used to kill, but to distract the enemy to give you time to do something else. Such as get a sword or, if you already had one, to cut him up with the sword.

Since Alpha 130 included attacks for the dog broadsword, here's some more references to big sabers.
A two-handed Chinese saber, which I think would work pretty nicely for the Dog Broadsword weapon. The form starts at 1:20, so skip to that or click this here link with time embedded.
The form has close-combat attacks with the pommel, the tip, and with the blade held across arms; many of the movements where the blade goes around the head are blocks, and it has some nice, powerful chops and slashes. Also, in the very beginning of the form there's a one-handed horizontal slash that could be adapted into an attack against an enemy that's behind you.
Here's some links to European longsword videos that have been posted, they might work for other two-handed swords as well: 1, 2, 3, 4.

Here's a guy who makes taiji, xingyi and bagua forms with slow speed but elegant and very, VERY clear movements. That spear form in the beginning is fantastic: it's filmed from the side, and shows off most strikes in a very clear fashion. There's a wonderful feeling of elegance in all his videos.
Short stick (walking cane, stick, thin wooden club, or possibly a polearm cut in two)
Jian, straight two-edged sword.
One-handed saber

Really nice Krabman! That's nice. I've posted few of that groups other videos, but hadn't seen that one. That's going to be fantastic for rapier (cats) vs two-handed sword (dog) animations.

Shields!
First, here's a nice video that shows four basic shield blocks at 0:57. The first part shows some shield drills, the latter part some spear formation training, and some many-vs-one spearwork. It's not very interesting, IMO, but I think the basic shield blocks at 0:57 are very good references.
Some big round shields, or "viking" shields.
Some nasty cuts with a sword, and an explanation on how to turn an unrimmed shield's edge into your advantage by catching your opponent's sword:
Team Austria (I'm pretty sure I've posted these ones before), but oh well:
And finally, Drynevent, which seems like something very fun. There's guys practicing gladiator fights (legionaire's shield and sword versus trident and sword, with few appearances from a net-thrower), a pair of sickle-duelers, a pair of pole-axe fighters and some big swords.

Sword and buckler stuff:
Here the fighters start wrestling at about 0:38, and the camera is farther to the side so the techniques, and especially the leg movements, are clearer.
As you might notice from the numbers, there's more where these came from. The camera sometimes goes to weird angles, and I can't tell if that's helpful or not.
There's an interesting one. The two fighters have the same weapons (sword & buckler), but their style of movement is clearly a bit different. It provides interesting contrast.
A short bout to "the first deadly hit", between two rather challenged practitioners. There's more bluffing and a bit more tension in these "martial challenges". Again, there's more of these to be found by searching for "martial challenge".

Here are two gifs that, while not that useful as references, are too funny to pass by. I'm not sure if hotlinking works, but I'll try any way. In case hotlinking does NOT work, clicking the gif sends you to the original site.
Pic nr 1: judo throw and its reversal. Awesome!
Pic nr 2: that's one way to get an edge over your opponent in a fencing match!
