Okay, could someone go into the labyrinth of Ozy's entrails and get Will out of there? It's quiet here without him.
Don't forget your ball of string.

Much as I'd love to help, I'm really busy thinking of other things to do instead.

So, if the Whaleman is going to be an actuality. Are there other aquatic mammals too? Such as seals, or sealions. Furthermore, what of other land animals: Maybe this is too much like "Redwall" But I think Badgers would be awesome! And foxes as well.... I think the Foxes would be as much archenemies of the Rabbits as Wolves would, because in nature most foxes hunt rabbits for food. And Badgers would just be awesome fighters...

What's with everyone mentioning Redwall so much all of a sudden?
I don't expect there to be any more aquatics, though. Even if we do get a whaleman reference, or even appearance...

It's possible that there will be aquatic races in Overgrowth. Except they'll be... You know, aquatic. So they probably won't be included in the main storyline, but they might make an appearance as random battles if you try to leave Lugaru.
Course, that is if Turner can swim.
Wait, Killer Whales are technically dolphins, does that make them mammals? And therefore, can we assume they are super powerful sea critters that stop players from leaving lugaru at all? Or am I getting my biology mixed up?

I really don't think aquatic animals will be in Overgrowth. Or not much if there is, I mean Lugaru didnt't even feature water, whats the chances of a full blown aquatic species? And for that matter, what's the point?
(Is Whale man concept art or just for fun?)

I'm pretty sure Whale Man was just a fun little thing.

Fun is a good thing, right?

Didn't they say that it would be extremely unlikely if there was a race other than Rabbits, Wolves, Dogs, Cats and Rats? I would say that's all there will be.

I'd still love to atleast see an aquatic cameo. They won't even interact with you, just show up in the ocean far out of reach (if you can even get to the ocean).

They said they're only including mammals! Whales and Dolphins live in water and, since all fish live it water, it is obvious that Whales and Dolphins must be fish.
Seriously though - it'd be a lot of work to add aquatic creatures and I don't think it would add much to the game. The same goes with water in general: sure it's pretty, but this isn't a commercial game where disappointing game mechanics are sold thanks to nice looking scenery - if water isn't integral to the game, why bother with it?
