Apparently not. I don't think it has to be.

No, it would be good. Some of this info is valuable for the devs, that is, if they can weed it out of the **********.

I was looking for a free game with a decent physics engine, came across fun-motion, then lugaru. It didn't turn out to be free, but I bought it anyway.

i saw Lugaru a while ago on fun motion .com but always thought it looked like crap. then over Thxgiving break (2 weeks ago, thurs.- monday) and after watching some vids on Lugaru and previews of Overgrowth i was like HOLY FING S*** I NEED THIS! so i started to nag my sister about downloading it. I did and i was like "this is amazing."

I think i found Black shades while looking for mac games (i don't remember when exactly..Must be like 2 years ago or something?). Ended up downloading all of the free mac games including Lugaru. Then when they started working on overgrowth joined their facebook and got my serial. :D

Just recently joined as i entered covert ops and pre-ordered the game.

I came across the OpenGL blog post on digg earlier today, thought I should check out the games and spent the last couple of hours utterly confused about what exactly Overgrowth is.

Just pre-ordered Overgrowth/NS2 out of a mix of wanting to support indie devs and the intrigue of bunny based combat.

Hey welcome to the forums! You may have already come across this, but this explains what Overgrowth is pretty well and also explains where Wolfire is at in their production stage...

I also came from the digg article on OpenGL. After giving that a read, I was curious just what you were actually developing and was pleasantly surprised to find ninja bunnies! Since there were ninja bunny fights to be had on Linux courtesy of a bunch of dudes who are apparently awesome, money was spent.
