Thanks Sandurz.
@Jeff: nope, neither address, neither account, no messages at all
edit: that's a hotmail account + a gmail account by the way

Yeah... I noticed that too a while ago. Messed with the settings, still no replies =(

Jeff: try making a new account and see if you get notification emails, keeping track of what you did. If you can't then there's a serious problem somewhere. If you can, perhaps we can follow your directions, though it would suck to have to make a new account.
This is literally alienating me from the community.

Agreed, this is a serious issue D:
Re: Not getting notification emails :-(
Sign up emails worked for me. If people were not able to receive the initial forum email, they wouldn't be able to sign up for the forums at all and that would be pretty devestating.
As for why those emails are working and topic replies are not, I have no idea.
I wish I could help more, but I am not a competent sysadmin.

Re: Not getting notification emails :-(
I guess my question is: Is anyone getting notification emails? I feel like there are many topics that would be more engaging if people were.

Re: Not getting notification emails :-(
I've just noticed something: every time I go to a topic there's an option "subscribe to this topic" as though I haven't already, even though I'm automatically subscribing to topic when I post on them. And when I post the button changes to "unsubscribe from this topic". Same thing if I click "subscribe to this topic".
I know what you're thinking: "No ***t Sherlock!" But no matter what, if I check the topic the next day, it'll be back to "subcribe to this topic". Am I being unsubscribed whenever I log off? Everything's always there in "list subscriptions" but there seem to be some discrepancies
Anybody else notice this?
edit: actually, things are disappearing from "list subscriptions" too, seemingly whenever somebody adds a reply to the end of them. How odd...
edit2: on closer inspection, the only threads in my list of subscriptions are the ones where either I have the last post or somebody else had the last post back before this problem started. I think I may be on to something...
