Oh, that one. I saw it in CG society, the WIP thread is probably still there... IIRC, he had images there that showed how he used 3D for the background and basic shapes, and then paihnted over.

lol. this could be the 3rd game in the future, while lugaru and overgrowth is where your playing the past in the future. think assassins creed, lol.

That wolf in the shadows is awesome, someone should make a skin for that. Whoever drew the picture had a great idea, putting that wolf back there.

The image took part in CG Society's competition, themed "SECRET AGENT".

The WIP (work-in-progress) thread, starting from a very sketchy image and working towards the final. The wolf (or dog) in shadows was what he started with, but the image changed quite a bit as he kept refining it.

Pages 2, 4 and 6 have nice, big concept images of the rabbit and wolf characters. Cool stuff. Page 9 shows how he started working on the actual image.


He got "image excellence" award in the still image category
