Loading custom model

Post by camino1961 » Sun Nov 29, 2009 9:48 pm

I'm trying to load a custom model into the editor on OSX, but I can't get into the game Data folder.
What am I doing wrong? Can I save the my model on my desktop and access the contents from there (Model, XML file, Texture files etc.)?

Thanks in advance,

Even though I've never used OSX save one or two times, I think I heard somewhere that you need to rightclick (cmd-click) on the application and "enter the application files" in some way. Don't ask me why, it's strange. :?

If you right click (or ctrl-click) on the application, you can view the package contents. Inside is the data folder. The easiest way to get to it in the future is to add it to the side bar of the finder window (just drag it to the left side...). Having it in the sidebar gives you access to the folder from the load screen in the app. You can also drag that folder out anywhere on your computer (some people like the desktop) but it will take up more space that way.
