I have the feeling that David might not put in all these ideas, becuase as I remember he said something on the weapons thread about studying martail arts for the combat in Lugaru. I could be wrong about this but if he in fact did and is still studying said arts then I doubt most of these moves will be put in. And like Lugaru, those that are in they'll be relitively quick and deadly. Just my opinion.

Well, of course. He'll probably read some of the ideas, but I doubt he'll change anything.
Still, it's nice to share our ideas and opinions and suchwise.

To be honest, I want David to do things his (And rest of the Lugaru 2 team's) way. Don't listen too much to us. ;P

Although, there have been some nice ideas, I think? There are some nice suggestions for multiplayer modes.

He's OBVIOUSLY not going to say "Hey, everything he said sounds good, I'll just add all that bit in."
Our opinions are there as suggestions. He either (A) Thinks it's a good idea, and acts accordingly, or (B) Thinks it's a bad idea, and acts accordingly. He'll decide what is worth taking something from and what's not. So telling him not to listen to us is meaningless, pretty much.
The suggestions are just to throw a different perspective on a certain topic to help the team come to a decision on how to go about the said topic.

Woo! I had forgotten you, Deck.
It's said that buyers of Lugaru 1 maybe will get a discount.

Yeah.. you'll definitely have to buy Lugaru 2 seperately.

Of course you would have to buy L2 seperately, if not, why not just buy L1, and then play L1 and L2 and almost no cost?

Ah, for a world where I don't have to pay for stuff. That sounds fun.

Alpha testing in games development should be made by the programmers only imho.

Beta testing - I'm in ;)

And I'd love to do other things for Lugaru 2. Are there any things to do?

How about a CVS/Subversion login? (Kidding here)

I disagree. I think I know zamzx (If he is who I think he is...), and he comes from the same game community like me (Vendetta Online).
That game was free alpha for quite some time, and it did it quite some good (I think...). I don't say that it would be the best for Lugaru, but it can be good for some game types.
