Yeah, more variation in actual hit-for-hit strength would be nice. You could toy with it in the editor but you didn't see much of it in practice.
It was nice setting power to ten or so and sending a rabbit FLYING across the land from a roundhouse -- or setting it to 100 and watching a punch instantly turn the enemy into a fine red mist.

You cannot do a roundhouse in Lugaru, unless I am greatly mistaken...

Meh, I just get so annoyed when people refer to a spinning kick, as a "roundhouse kick" a true roundhouse kick is nothing like a spinning kick in Lugaru.

It is a reverse crescent kick if I am not mistaken.

But as Usagi said, you know what I meant, so there's no reason to get all uptight about it.

And once again you guys are getting nitpicky...
anyways... You know in lugaru you can only crouch and stab / kick+hit on dead guys... I'd like to be able to do so to living ones aswell in lugaru 2... :)

It would be slightly unrealistic, though, because there is no way that the enemy would react so slowly as you lift him up with your foot into the air and then punch him away.

You would not lose functionality of your body for five seconds or so at a time and then suddenly retain it. The move, in my opinion, can only work if the opponent is unconscious or dead.

If you get kicked so hard you pop into the air high enough to get straight-punched like that, you're probably not going to be able to do anything about it during the move.

You wouldn't be able to get the opponent into the position to do it in the first place, they could react to you too easily.

Into what position? Lying on the floor?

Into the position where you could wedge an anthropomorphic rabbit's foot under their back and then lift them with that foot into the air without resistance from said opponent. It would be easily reversable. There must be some reason David omitted the ability to do the move while the opponent is conscious. If not for my reason, then because it would make the game a lot easier than it is. That would not be a good thing. It was the right decision.
