Sup guys. I preordered this game with the Organic Indie thing a while ago (nice!). I was wondering how this game was doing development wise. It it going pretty well/decent or maybe going at a snails pace or something?

You'd do well to check the blog posts, over the past 4 weeks there has been 4 development videos documenting the various features which were added during each week. Over the past couple of months they've begun developing the combat system in a very big way too, so it's suddenly generating a torrent of interest from various sources, which is reflected in the amount of people who've preordered over the past 3-4 weeks.

You should subscribe to the Wolfire blog! it's handy because it lets you know every time anything of particular interest happens.

Welcome to the forum, by the way! :D

What R_T said. Also, you might consider subscribing to the Wolfire youtube account instead of the blog - that way you'll learn about the news videos directly.

I think the one you refer to is John, so no, that's not him. Although, whether or not he has a beard or not, I don't know. Image

Also, John does not have a beard anymore... Image

Haha, I actually do have a beard, but I'm also inclined to believe it's John you're referring to, as my beard has not been so publicised, nor is it as mighty as John's was.

Like Renegade said, Welcome to the forums bud.
R.I.P John's beard :'(
I hope you like Overgrowth, nice going with pre-ordering, you know the blog updates every week right? there you can check out all the details about how far overgrowth's coming along. :P
You could also just ask John a few questions about Overgrowth when he's online in the Contact section, a green orb will appear when John's there
