I think I heard something about fur shaders being planned, even if I'm imagining it it still seems quite likely given all the other purrty stuff we are seeing from Phoenix :)
What game are those screens from? Me wants.

What are those from? That looks pretty good, but I am planning better lighting for L2 fur 8) Shadow of the Colossus uses a technique that is a bit more similar to mine, but not exactly.

The first appears to be from a game called "Vivisector: The Beast Within".

Wow, that looks pretty good. Yet another graphically amazing thing to look forward to in Lugaru 2.

Right You are!

This game is... well... controversial.

Outddor engine is subpar, and indoor is ok at best. But fur, real glass (shattering the way it shatters in real life - where you shoot), breaking ammo crates to get ammo (there are holes where you shoot, crates do not just disappear), shooting off parts of the body - and there are somewhat 60 or 80 parts the body consists of... An ability to shoot off weapons... Different levels, reminding of Serious Sam, Doom 3, Call of Duty or even The House of the Dead - really different levels. And a nice story.

I am currently playing through it, and the more I play, the more I like it. It's my type of game.

Just do not make it like in B&W 2. This was terrible. ;)

Eh, I thought it was not released yet? It's slated for 2006.

So you have seen that game or played it?

I played through Shadow of the Colossus, but I have never played Vivisector.

It's not? Hm. The fur engine will probably be really great. -tries desperately to stay on topic-

What I said was on-topic, considering the comment about B&W2 was in relation to the fur in the first place. People were inquiring as to the validity of the person's comment about the B&W2 fur engine, because they didn't think it was out yet. So I said it's not out yet.
