heh heh.

Its ridiculously fun running around the terrain, watching the little rabbit skeleton compensate for momentum/pitch/etc.

Man you're so lucky! Only a few normal people have been able to test out games that had physics based movement in it! You're playing with brand new technology, and I have to wait till next year! Aww man, I hope David goes to some Mac World event (I don't know what that is), I need more contact with this pheonix engine, man it's so awesome. How's that motion blur too? There's only a handful of people who actually played this game, how cool is that!
(lucky guys that played at E3 too, the new basketball game seems like the only one that uses procedural animated movement, I don't think it's physics based movement like David's though)

I like it, it looks much more cartoony than the old one though.

Wow, this model is really cool!

Are muscles and fur dynamic, by any chance?

Has the model actually changed, or has it just been textured?

It has been both changed and textured.

I think the reason why his tail looks awkward for Ipod, is that it's the same exact color. If you didn't see the side view, you'd think this rabbit woud not even have one. But in real life, it's very possible to have the same color furs on the body. In simple genetics, people only deal with two colors so it makes sense Turner would look like that. I think the main reason for that similarity is because he's clean. In nature fur looks more dynamic because, a rabbit would have his tail stained with piss or some crap like that. I'm guessing Turner knows how to wipe himself :)

So this is awesome, there's no fur shaders yet, which is wierd, because I don't even know what they would be like. I'm guessing it's going to look real sweet though, probably better than Black and White 2's fur, those looked like... I dunno, I guess I'm not used to seeing anything with real fur, so anything Lugaru 2 has, is going to look like brand new technology.

Also I like the models, they look like real animals this time. The legs make it seem more believable when you picture this guy animal running around or jumping 6 feet in the air (I think Turner jumps alot higher than that, like 18 feet).

Correction: It looks like a real anthropomorphic animal (translates to human-like animal).

/methinks people should use the commenting feature in the blog more and this forum less :)

I've tried posting a blog comment several times, but it doesn't appear, even though at one point I got the error message "You already said that.", proving that the comment had still, somehow, been recorded.

Would the comments be put on wait for moderator approval?

(Otherwise the blame may well be on my buggy connection, not necessarily the blog system.)

I just hope the other two turner models show up as NPCs/multiplayer options.

It looks as though it was caught as spam - I fixed it. That spam folder is pretty horrendous. There are like 10 spam messages per day in there.
