Mod help!

Post by Fatal1ty » Sun Sep 20, 2009 3:19 pm

Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong place for this question, but I need some help on installing mods, specifically campaigns and weapons... could anybody post a step-by-step tutorial on how to install these? Thanks!(BTW: The mod that I really want to install is this one: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1066)

you might try this:

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5196

it might make things a little easier for you.

If you want to do it manually, first backup your Lugaru files, by copying the Data folder. Then just replace the old textures, models, campaign files, etc. with the ones in the mod. make sure that your moving the contents of the folders, rather than the folders themselves, so that Lugaru knows where to find them.

I usually just copy the entire Lugaru folder into a sub-folder, title it as the mod name, then move the data folders where they have to go.

I try installing the mod, I get the background, the title screen, but all three buttons say lugaru empire, I click on the top one, I get to the map screen, and where all the text is, I see solid red boxes, and the cursor is a white box. Help please?

No, I just figured out that I don't delete the original lugaru files XD and I just paste the game files in there, and overwrite the duplicates. I don't need anymore help! thank you!
