Re: Map editor tutorial?
I'm making a campaign and am going to make a video on how to use the map editor.
Re: Map editor tutorial?
This is a tip to avoid some disappointment while level-creating in Lugaru.
I strongly recommend making about 5 or so backups of a good map you produce. If you keep adding models and enemies, there comes a point where Lugaru won't load your level anymore. So first make the foundation of your level. Then save it to bunch of files. Now you are free to make changes to the original, to go around adding things here and there. After you add a few more components, save to just the original and test to see if it loads successfully. If yes, immediately backup the new changes by writing over the copies with the new version. If it doesn't load, it's not the end of the world. You still have your backups from the last save.
Just continue that cycle of create, save, test, and backup. If you save and backup often, nothing can go wrong. Except accidentally erasing 50 gigs while messing around in AppleScript. WTF.
