Map: Watcher

Post by Telltolin » Sat Mar 04, 2006 12:15 pm

I've made a map. It's my first map where I've deleted everything and made a new one from scratch. I've named it "watcher." I've played quite a few maps and this one is kinda challenging. You'll need to think of a tactic to get a fair fight.
Here are some screenshots.

This is what I looked like after I had defeated everyone on the map.

I'm wearing chainmail armor that I will include with this. Feel free to tweak and mess with this map and the armor that I included. I think that the chainmail has the same resistances as leather. I didn't do anything to it, but people can withstand a knife tossed into the back.

Here's the chainmail texture. Just save it to your /textures folder in your lugaru folder.

Here's my base texture for the chainmail. I did make it, so you can use it for anything as long as you don't sell it. :p

Any comments, criticism?

Great map!

with...
Original setup.
Difficult stealth approach.
Funny how the chainmail makes space for the bunny tail, btw.
And the wolf is cute, too.

cons
Enemies are not so hard that you can't just barge into the fight.
Pathfinding points are weirdly placed, and don't help the bunnies at all.

I really hope you'll make some other maps :)
-and be sure to post that one in the wiki

Thanks. It is my second map, and if you were wondering about the mid-air pathfinding points, I didn't know how to remove those. They were there in map two (which I created this map off of.) And alright, I'll post it in the wiki. :) Maybe I'll learn how to remove those pathfinding points in the console guide.

control+p = make/connect pathfind waypoint
period/comma = select pathfind waypoints
shift+comma = delete pathfind waypoint
