"Screenshots are borked"
would have hit that messed up part of my brain that then would have made me laugh to death.

Mission not at all accomplished :(

Hmm, I'm guessing you are using a uh, Mac?
Anyways, you should, if you ever decide to take screenshots, make them with other programs. Use a program like FRAPS or, I'm using Capture Wizard Pro for partial screenshots. Serch for others at like, Download.com, or the harder way and google it.

That, or you can use the other method people have been using. Take like 3 shots in a row, one is bound to come out okay.

I just looked thru my screenshots and I too have this lines problem. It actually looks like someone took some scissors and cut the image into chunks and then tried to piece it back together half-assed like a bad collage. Some of my shots have huge gaps and whole segments missing, much more drastic than just mere "lines". I never have had screenshots turn out like this on anything else I have captured.
