So after having preordered overgrowth, which i've got addicted to, i wanted to try it's predecessor lugaru.
But it seems i can't play it because the framerate goes WAY too high, it makes my hardware(probably videocard) make noises(which i bet ain't good) and the game just plays way too fast for me to do anything, it's like many times sped up.
So.. my question is.. is there any way to limit the framerate in lugaru?
Any help would be appreciated.
Edit
Here is a DxDiag in case you're wondering about my hardware.

Re: Framerate limiting?
should be something in the config. there's a gamespeed variable but I'm not sure what that does. So I've got no idea really. maybe try running in compatibility mode?

Re: Framerate limiting?
I think VBL Sync in the config.txt is supposed to set vertical synchronization. So set that to 1.
If that doesn't work (although it should), you can also force VSync in the AMD Control Panel. Something like "Wait for vertical refresh". I don't know if Lugaru handles that well though. But it's worth trying.

Re: Framerate limiting?
Alright, the v-sync in the config file doesn't appear to limit the framerate, but turning on v-sync in the amd panel seems to do the trick. Thanks.
