Usagi wrote:HIDDEN CAMERA REVEALS TURNER'S HORRIBLE SECRET!

In a prepared statement, Turner claimed the image had been doctored, and threatened a lawsuit if an apology was not published. However, photographic experts could find no signs of image manipulation, and stated categorically that "as shocking as it is, this is a legitimate, unretouched image."

An associate of Turner commented, "We've always wondered what T has in his pants, but the idea that it's a wolf arm, claws and all, is patently ridiculous."

An offer to give Turner an opportunity to reveal for the camera what he really does keep in his pants elicited no response.

OMGOMGOMGOGMOGOGMOG! I CAN DO THAT, ILL GET THE PIC IN A MINUTE!!!

I don't use Snapz; it didn't work well for me either. Mine is a fairly laborious process, but I've got it down to almost an automatic system. I enjoy the whole process, personally. It's fun to create an amazing (or goofy) gif.

I use the slo-mo and stop action keys if I see a good screen coming up, or if I'm setting one up after seeing something cool but missing the screen.

I hit slo-mo (b) and get to the ideal spot, then freeze (v). Then I take a screen (cmd-shft-3) and advance with a double tap on the v. Another screen; repeat.

About 8 screens are right for a good gif, tho you can use more if you reduce the size, mess with the number of colors, etc.

I use PS Elements; it's got everything I need. I just drop each image on top of the next as a layer (in PSE 4, it's quite easy, since the images register automatically). Start with the first image as the background, select the next image and drag from the layers window onto the first one, make sure they line up, and repeat.

Crop or do whatever else you need, then use "Save for web" in the "File" menu, select format as GIF, click "Animation," preview in your browser, and save.

I'd like to get something that works better for longer movies; maybe Snapz Pro would be worth it. I have made longer QT movies using the same technique and iMovie, but that gets really laborious. Still, if I get a good one I may post it.

Two things:

Thats really smart, what would you use to make GIF's?

I thought I was the only one knowing that glitch.....
I bet you dont know my sword/staff throwing glitch.....

Well, you could follow the method above with either PS or PS Elements; I'm sure CS also. Most graphics programs prolly have the same capability, but I'm not familiar with any others.

Sword throwing?
ImageYou can throw swords?Image Really?ImageCan you do anything else?Image
And bos?ImageYou can throw them too?ImageDo they stick?Image
That would be cool! Too bad you can't have two, eh?Image Have you discovered any other crazy glitches?

PS: No PS was used in the making of these pictures, although several animals (bunnies and wolfies) were intentionally killed or injured. This is a work of fiction (although it's all there for anybunny to access in Lugaru): there is no representation of actual bunnies and wolfies, living or dead (sad to say).

does the word "glitch" imply that you can do it without messing around in the data folder?

yah. I dont think that he was doing that, though. Probably only on debug mode. :D
