Rimon, Julia, and Yumik are the only ones still battle worthy.

Rimon signaled to Julia and Yumik to throw torches at the enemy.

They lobbed a few flaming torches at the enemy, greeted by bucklers above the head, resulting in rather well singed rabbits as the torches bounced off the bucklers, landed on the ground and set fire to the clothes of some of the cultists, spreading fire around the enemy lines as they panicked and bumped into others, causing rather severe battle casualties before they managed to get out of the way of the flaming rabbits.

They then took aim of their crossbows again (They only fired one volley, you know…) and started firing off well aimed shots at the enemy, often blocked, but not always.

Rimon: "Let's see how well they do at an obstacle course!"

They proceeded to run around, leading people on another wild goose chase, and setting fire to tents as they ran through them, causing problems for those chasing them. This continued as before for a while… (Many of these tents have two openings at each end, I assume…)

What was ahead of one of the Ninjas they would never expect.
a Saw blade stuck out the side of a tent about a a foot away from him/her.

There was little time to react, and the Ninja was sawn in half.
Being a fair distance away the New Guard skidded to a holt and were lucky to stop in time.

another was chancing another ninja, in the small handful that were chancing them, one pulled out a throwing saw. aiming for the back, the Ninja jumped on a crate and instead got the Ninja in the quad.

Due to the mussel spasm and the mulching of that mussel, the Jump turned into a tumble. all ninjas were stabbed in deadly places to be stabbed to make certain they were dead. two down, one to go...

(Each crossbow shoots five shots, each volley consists of those five shots being shot at the enemy by several rabbits with crossbows, they only need to carry about 15 or 20 bolts.)

Rimon, the only one left decided it was time to retreat.

He ran through one of the burning tents quickly so as to avoid getting burnt, and disappeared into a cloud of thick smoke around the area from several other burning tents, and climbed over the wall and ran off to the east.

Being rather tired from battle, it took him a bit longer than usual to get to the fort…

Clean up started... one strategist Talked to Valdesh when she came back from her meetings with a bunch of arbiters.

"My Lady... We have suffered a bunch of imbeciles again...."
"Grrrr.... Other than that... some good news?"
"We have sorted out a plan... we will need some people to dig"
Valdesh smiled wickedly...

"Slade! you have New orders!"

Arthilos: "They're all dead now?"

Arthilos: "Go and get more troops, 50 or so soldiers should do. Their forces are weakened and we have a good supply of rabbits, so let's utilise it."

Soon afterwards the soldiers marched to the west…

Meanwhile... Colicedus Read the paper work of the casualties of the new guard. it seems the elite guard have done very little, trying to pit the new for training.

"well, I suppose Ill have to go in there and sort it out myself. a whole Generation gone to waste. Ugh... if only I did not have to look after the lands."

He wrote a letter to the leader of the bears asking for reinforcements.

Next he wrote to Valdesh that no further troops could be used, due to needing to make a better fall back and to patrol the place. But maybe the bears could be help. It was also time to use some Old Elite.

((old elite Training: 25-30 years of combat and on top of that, weight and speed training and, Hypnotherapy for years and has cleared there mind, there Initiative is good and the hypnoses has also makes them Immune to Pain, Feasting on the Raw flesh of wolves and good exercise have also mutated them to a frightful strength and increased there durability. Generally they last longer than a normal rabbit after a some what fatal wound))

Valdesh just said "Well you and your fancy little spears are better than the job at had... you are to weaken the ground around the front of the fort, and make a long pit fall for our onslaught. those smart enough will go to the main gate."

A blue print was handed out to Slade as the plan.

"What are you still doing here!? get Going! You Arbiter, make sure he dose it right!"

an hour later the letter arrived.
She was agitated... "well, I hope if these bears help, don't take as long as These Heretics" as that was said Slade was walking past, getting a few bits of building material.

Slade squirted some water in the marauders face.

Meanwhile...
A bear brought the letter to the Cheiftan he read it then shredded it up
"Um, what was that for Chief?"
"I just didn't have anywhere to put it, we're going east."
"Um..K"
The Chieftan picked up a horn and blew it, some of the best warriors came to attention in front of him.
"The rabbits have asked for our help, so we will help."
The Chief picked up his battle axe and marched east with his army.
