Inquisitor only see battle when they are on an assassin mission and they break into High fortified ground of the wolfs. often referred to outsiders as out right mad missions of suicide. there can be sometimes a total of 30 Inquisitors in one mission all filling in a part.

the Inquisitors main job is to keep an eye on any possible revolutions or Rebellion of the cult.

the Inquisitor prefer a small Turkey Diner Chainsaw (as Usagi said once)
and a Chainsword.

The Priests mainly use the small Chainsaw and proper Martial arts.
They keep well trained but don't often see battle unless there Monastery is in Wolf Territory.

and Yes the Templar use the Halberds and Chainsword Frequently or use Tower Shields. they keep up with training and if there not training they are in the Field.

anyway I like that Saying and I will add it to the Holy Book of Saws.
if anyone has a good saying like that I will add it if i can fit it in. and yes, its More Chaplain Thinking.

I thinks I am Inquisitor's Espionage. Fighting is a Last resort but when it coms to that look out.

Also, if you need another name for a rank, Arbiter. It may not fit with the others but if you can't think of a name for a new type of cultist, Arbiter is a good back-up

a Rank Given to only the Fair.

Arbiter are Judges of the Inquisition and Declare Punishments.
The Punishments could range from Loss of a Rank, the loss of the right to use a Chainsaw until a Task is Performed that redeems his honor. Some times If the Crime is Bad enough even Death, but that is rare for Toothed Blade Cultists to Kill there owen kind.

I also have a New Entry for the Holy book of saws.
This is More towards the Explaining Combat.

In this book holds lessons on how to fight with a saw. You may and Will need help from a Priest or a Monk to train you in this and maybe skill in martial arts.

Defensive stab: If the enemy Runs at you like a ten ton Rock you only need to arm the chainsaw and move the blade facing him. you put the blade were his face Is going to be.

Anticountering: some rabbits may find It better to put the blade on an angle so they can move it as necessary. If you have Come across well trained Warriors still being able to move the blade when they are too close and have just made it out of the way to attack you.

Plowman's Maneuver: If your chainsaw is relatively big you may consider the Plowman's Maneuver. this is an Aggressive attack that involves Running at the enemy. rest you're chainsaw below you're waste and Run.
if the Enemy is In front of you you lift you're blade and aim for slicing him from side to side. again rest the blade pointing downwards on an angle unless there is someone ahead of you. Brace you're self to cleave another Rabbit.

Anticountering: This aggressive move should be Quick and Messy. usually Intimidating. sometimes someone may However with a normal sword smash the chainsaw away. This is not unheard of, and often happens to careless users.
Normally attack should be swung at a persons undefended side. if the recipient has a sword in there left hand take him to the Right. if he is duel welding don't bother trying it.

Side Cleave: this Is easy if everyone dose not expect it. its simple. jump a little in the air and turn in mid air. accuracy is not important as you will usually do two 360* spins.

Anticountering: You may end up with some one thinking quick and Ducking. they can be taken out later or on second strike. what you need to look out for is some one who puts a blade up and attempts to break the chains. With training you will Eventually be able to use the movement of the saw and a turn of you're body to swing the other way. not many foes count on that ever happening. but it was seen done by lady Valdesh fighting a Wolf that had gotten hold of a chainsaw. she spun around again and Smashed the wolfs jaw with a Kick and shoved her blade into its skull.

Because unfortunety the lugaru 1 game mechanics wouldn't support that.

I am trying to create more of a cast for the Chainsaw Cult Heros. Help me out with some.

The Toothed blade has had many heros in its time.
Heroism in the cult is more to do with helping those who have fallen around you and nursing them back to health. not with doing your duty of Killing wolfs by the tens and hundreds, that is what you are expected to do.

some simple foke may say that Colicedus was a hero because he Killed fifty wolves in one day during the first crusade.
He was really a hero because he had done this alone to save a group of young warriors that had been Captured.
All though they were deceased Colicedus Took the wolfs that ate these Brethren and brought both the fallen rabbits and fallen Wolves souls into the service of the Toothed blade by consuming them.


the Mistress Valdesh Is considered heroic for Defending Her Friends and Loved ones from a pack of wolfs that broke into the old ones Temple.
not for the fact that she did her duty of killing the wolves.

Help me Out and Fill this page with more heros guys, I have not been able to think of any, and its a chance to contribute more to the Cult.

I would like to add an enemy and a weapon I've been thinking of for a while..

Halfway through a initiation ritual..
"Sir! Sir!"
A lookout runs in.
"You might want to see this sir"
"What could be so important to interupt a initiation?"
The lookout looked worried
"Heretics"
The Inquisitor looked shocked and they ran to the lookout tower. There was a small, but powerful army, of rabbits. Armed with strange spear-like weapons, the end of the spear was spinning. Each of the rabbits was wearing black (Like the ninja suit in lugaru temple). Many of them had the remains of a chainsaw still where their hand should be. One of them had a red headband, red wrist bands and red ankle bands and his spear had a red band around the top.
"What are those things?"
"I don't know"
The rabbit with the red bands shouted to them
"We will not harm you. Yet, But be warned, we go against the bloodshed of the chainsaw! Many of my brethren have had their hands chopped of for a weapon! But no more, we go by our own rules and our own weapons"
"What? Those spears? Those are just fancy sticks!"
"No, these are custom-built... POWER DRILLS!!"

History

An extract from the Enchiridion

it was an honor just to be chosen for the chainsaw cult. But there was a cost for the weapon. Slade saw his brethren having their hands butchered, just so they could use a chainsaw. He protested, but was ignored but the Inquisitor. Slade left the chainsaw cult with some of the to-be-first Librarians and Marauders to search the ruins of the place where the chainsaw was first found. They found a power drill but Slades friends just thought is was some sort of hammer.Slade researched the drill untill he made it work again, and then he created his own in the shape of a spear. From then on he would be know as Lord Slade

Ranks

There are five positions which may be picked for a driller

Lord
Lords wear the basic black suit but also wear red bands on his/her wrists, head and ankles. The lords job is to maintain order, tell people what to do. And make sure the chainsaw cult is destroyed. Use Powerdrills

Marauder
Marauders are the bloodthirsty warriors, Marauders have a lust for battle and are almost unstoppable, they wear strong armour with the baisc balck suit underneath, and fight for the blood, not for the honor. Use Powerdrills

Librarian
The name may sound dull, but the Librarians depend on the mind, not the muscle. Librarians wear fancy robes in yellow and crimson. Librarians handle tactics and also act as medics. Use Hand-drill

Knight
Knights are the title given to all Drillers who do not have a specific skill or just aren't qualified for a bigger title. Wear a basic black suit. Use a basic drill.

Apprentice
Apprentices are newbs at drilling and are not permitted to use one yet, they are only put in combat in extreme cases or to prove themselves. Wear yellow gi-robes. Use
practice drill

Drill styles

Powerdrill
Moves at 3000 rpm and is designed with the familiar spear shape, Powerdrills are dangerous in the wrong hands

Hand-drill
Smaller than other drills and weaker too, but can still drill anything open easily. In the knife shape it has 1000 rpm

Basic drill
Weaker than the Powerdrill, but still more powerful than the handdrill. 2000 rpm movement.

Practice drill
These drills have a switch that stops the drill form moving or being able to move until a hidden switch is pressed, only the Libriarian and the Lord knows where the switch is; that way appretices can't stab their friends while practicing. 2000 rpm

If the rpms are too high then tell me. I'm happy with the Drill council though.

I like it. how ever it is optional to have you're hand cut off. you can also go on a great hunt and eat a wolf to become a member of the toothed blade.

but i can understand the conflict there.
its an interesting story.

"Inquisitor, I need to see Colicedus, I have some Troubling news"
the Arbiter stops munching on his food and looks up "sorry your Highness, He is Busy sorting out internal problems with some new Cult. this dose not sound good at all, its is a possibility they could pose a threat to us. the Captain of the Templar in Farfront Camp is also in Trial for heresy now because of this state of affairs."

Valdesh snaps at the Arbiter "You all knew about this? I only found out a minute ago, I am sick of not hearing about these cases at all. What has been done to handle the new hostile activity?"

The Arbiter looks up to her and says boldly "we have used some Inquisitors Espionage and double agents to find out who Is the Ring leader.
He was that one who Got up and left. he could have been a Brilliant Templar, but he did not like the Thought of people Volunteering to have there hand sawn off.

after WE feed him and WE trained him, and not to mention let him Be apart of our organization, He Betrays us like a foul Wolf. He has taken up the alias of Slade. at the moment our Spy's tell us he is at the moment in an encampment west of the Ruins of the old ones, and what's worst he has gone deeper into the Ruins and Stolen technology from it."

however i think we can Find a weakness in there Camp..."

Valdesh however Is worried, she nibbles on her bottom lip thinking of how to get out of this mess she is in. Then it hits her, an idea.
it might just work. the Wolfs fell for it a year ago, and it might work again. She Grins and says to the Arbiter "Well Inquisitor, When Colicedus Arrives Tell him I have an idea..." Still concerned but with a new plot to organize.

Meanwhile... (invertin please continue with whats going on in the Drill cult)

And Now I have Decided to ask ether David or Jeff If there is Going to be a Chainsaw of any kind in lugaru two? No hard Feelings if its No.

All the Miners (Drill users) are sitting on the floor with the apprentices at the back, then the knights then the marauders then the librarians. (This formation is what they will use at all meetings) Slade is standing up front
"Now then, we need to organise ourselves. Firstly, we need food, the food we brought is running low and we can't farm down here. Does anyone have any suggestions?"
An Apprentice stood up
"What if we ate wolf meat, Like the chainsaw cult? We would get food and kill one of our enemies."
Slade gave the Apprentice a stern look
"That is why you are an Apprentice, we need to think about survival and honor. If we ate meat we would just fall to thier level."
The apprentice sat back down
"Anyone else?"
A Librarian stood up
"What if some apprentices, wearing ordinary clothes went to the surface? They could farm and act normal and no-one would notice. Then at night he could smuggle the crops down to us."
"Good idea! And that is why you are a Librarian."
The Librarian sat down again
"Also, we need more recruits. We are strong but still so few of us exist."
No-one stood up
"Hmm.. We will need to be careful. But that brings me to our final problem; if the Chainsaw cult found the mine we would be killed. We need some sort of defences."
A Marauder stood up
"What if we built tunnels? We could set up some sort of mechanism to block them off after we use them to escape"
Slade looked at the Marauder, intriged
"Perfect. Tell me why aren't you a Librarian?"
The Marauder looked proud
"I killed 2 wolves with nothing but a knife and my own strength!"
Slade looked impressed
"Wow. But now, we must read the Enchiridion

Before knowing how to use a drill you must first construct one. After becoming a knight, using the tools the Librarians will provide and the basic metals and components needed for a drill, then you must take your drill to a Librarian to be inspected. If your drill is lost, or broken then you must construct a new one. Even after constructing you drill you must continue to study drill construction as when you become a Marauder you must make a powerdrill. Powerdrills are harder to make, use more components, and any mistake in construction will result in an unusable drill, which will be taken apart for you to rebuild. If you become a Librarian then you must make a hand-drill. Hand-drills use less components but are small and tedious to make. In the rare case of 2 lost drills, then you will be punished with an 8-day-fast. The drill is a weapon, a tool and a privelige to use."

All the drillers put thier fists together (including slade) and said
"Amen"
A Knight stood up
"My lord, how are we going to defeat the chainsaw cultists? We are so few, we have no food. And no way of getting new apprentices!"
"I have a plan, it is only a temporary solution but if all goes well, it will kill an Inquisitor and alot of the cultists"
"How will it work?"
"Only the Librarians and Marauders know. But you will see..."

How ever Back in the Toothed Blade keep, just north of the Old ones Ruins The ones with Chainsaws were having there owen problems.

The Wolves had Gained the Slaughter Margin due to the Withdrawal.
If nothing was done soon the Island will be over Run from the west and Everyone Will be Killed in an Orgy of Blood and Violence.
What's worst allot of people realize this!

Dona Valdesh Hung her Head rested on her paw.
"were is Colicedus? He should be here now" Dona Mumbled as she waited. Speaking of the Devil and he appears, and with two other inquisitors and a Half Cut and half Beaten Rabbit.

"We Found a Traitor! Permission to Behead him?"
Dona Got up and Drew a Long Chainsaw that was thought to be a operational decoration to look Pretty, it was Nicely Polished and Reflected the room Cleanly with out a Flaw. She Cranked it up...

"Hi... your name?"
the Rabbit looked at the blade and back at the High mistress.
"My name is Ernest." he said intimidated.
"Tell me, Why dose my Friend here tell me that you are a traitor?"
He Gulped and replied like a rehearsed quote "you are going to Kill me anyway so I wont tell you anything!" a Tear formed in his eye.

Dona Laughed. it seemed like a kind and Equal laugh.
"Dear Friend Earnest, you Point blank Told me you are a traitor anyway, there is not much point in any further Conversation today, however... You have a Job for me... So i wont kill you... BOYS PIN HIM!"

She Commanded like a Demanding General.
With the Saw She had She Cut each arm from the Shoulder.
The Two Inquisitors Bandaged him up so he would not bleed to death and gave him a couple of paws to the face for Struggling.

The Polished Blade was Covered in a light Drizzled of blood.
She Sheathed it and Grabbed poor Ernest and said eye to eye "That is what happens to people who Betray us! now I have a Job for you..."

She grabbed a letter with a Wax Seal and said "Go back to Slade and Give him this. It may just save all of our lives! Oh yea, ill keep the arms thank you, there are a Nice Set of Souvenirs, and besides you don't need them anymore"

The Note Read:

Dear Masters of the Power Drill Cult.
We have become aware that you Betrayed our ways, Trespassed our Property, Given us Death Threats, and have Generally been Creating a World of Chaos.

We are the Only thing that is Saving the island of Lugaru From the wolf Threat from spreading to the western Provence. and according to our agents you are Weak and still Disorganized. Normally By now i will have asked my agents to kill you but we have our owen problems. we are offering a peace Treaty. if you accept out Meeting Invitation with a Minimum of five Foot solders we Will Guarantee you Will not kill you In these halls.

The Messenger is guyed out the door and locked out of the keep.
He wanders a few days, keeping an eye on the bushes so that no spy's are following him.

However Colicedus is Back, after Being so busy with paper work he is Now Busy with the planing of the meeting. They Gather heaps of Vegetables and dried meats. Often the Toothed Blade are very Humble and keep even Visitors feed, Well Feed!
