King's Plaza Maze Map

Post by RhinoG » Wed Nov 22, 2006 5:56 pm

This is an insane map made by my friend James, during school, there are a few points which may need playstesting so i reccomend playing in debug mode. I'm typing this from school right now so i can't get any screenshots.

Here's the download link: http://rapidshare.com/files/4452502/kin ... James.html

I hope you enjoy the map :D

P.S. He want's to be an architect.

Thank you, I'll tell him somone liked it on the internet.

He'll go ballistic

He was also wondering, how do you make the waypoints for the bunnies eg. how do you make them walk on routes. He was also wondering how to change the skybox to black, kind of like in the alternate campaign.

He wondered one other thing but I forgot it. :?

Waypoints
Sky manipulation commands
When you manipulate the sky and then save the map, it keeps the change.

No problemo.

Show the maps on the wiki to your friend, he probably gets inspired by some of them :)

Oh crap, when HE gets inspired......

I must resist temptation not to.

Anyways, how do I get the map up on the wiki? I'm pretty sure he'd like that.

EDIT: I'm going to put the maps under my name, he asked me too, since he cba to join the forums.

HAPPY UPDATE EDIT: I updated the wiki with his latest map: Palace of the King, due to a problem i forgot to mention, you must turn the speed to 1.0 in that map, but it IS possible to climb all the way up without debug mode, you just have to be VERY attentive to every single block.

Maybe these maps should have a Sauerbraten equivalent? More for exploring than playing, though.

His home computer sucks a lot, so he cant play it on that, and sauerbraten is too big for the crappy laptops we make maps on in school.

MEGA UPDATE:He made two more maps, the confrontation and doomsday. Links here: http://rapidshare.com/files/4585631/doomsday.html and http://rapidshare.com/files/4585682/The ... ation.html

By the way, I use a laptop (iBook G4) and sauerbraten runs fine (I use a rather convenient Wacom Tablet for the scroll wheel which is necessary to edit 8))

Who plays Cube2?
I agree that its a cool game and Good for level editing.

I find Lugaru very Unstable in some parts.
The level editor in L2 Better be Idiot proof so i can use it.
(I know i am sad to myself.)

By the way colicedus, did you try the doomsday level by James? Methinks it was MADE for you. : :P
