Yeah, of course! I thought up a concept with a custom character model + a custom animation that would make it work, sort of, at least in theory; never tested it though.

Goes like this:
- Gun is Sword.solid
- Pick some sword-related animation
- For fake shooting in the animation, scale an extra limb inside a character's hand outwards along the muzzle's orthogonal for like 2 frames (needs a custom skeleton, kind of hard to get right; scaling works in animations though :) )
- Wouldn't injure though, afaik; would have to edit the weapon animation's collision dot for that

So that's all pretty involved stuff haha, I made a prototype animation once, but it made the game crash, so I forgot about the idea.

Alternatively, model the gun into the character (not really hard), model a bullet-like knife and make fitting knife throw animations. But that concept is flawed for a number of reasons.

Lastly, modify Lugaru code to take a completely new weapon type on top of the old ones, write good code. Also absurdly difficult for a neat, but ultimately unnecessary feature.
