I hope this is ok to ask this.
I wonder if it is possible to make a living out of making indie games.
So was lugaru 1 profitable enough for david to quit his day time job?

Impressive!
So, if he wasn't at school, and if he had a day time job, would he quit it?

I could theoretically live off of the profits from Lugaru 1, but I would have to cut a few corners

However, when I am no longer in school, I will be able to work on game development full-time, instead of just a couple hours a week, and then I should be able to write games approximately 14x as fast.

With what you're managing now, you're the fastest programmer I know… Well, maybe besides some of Ambrosia's new stuff. SketchFighter is out already…
