im new so need help how do i load maps on mac pls

full version? demo? do you mean normal maps, or user made maps, or what?

With the registered game (You can't load maps on the demo version), you just save the map in Lugaru's maps folder located in the data folder. Then you just turn on debug in the config.txt. and when you play lugaru hit the console key ` or ~. and type in map name of map, and hit enter.

Go into your config.txt file in the Data folder and switch Debug from 0 to 1.

And it probably isn't ~ if your keyboard layout isn't american. Just try pressing the usual candidates.

Edit: if you typed 'map $MAPNAME' into the console and nothing happened, you either have it at the wrong place or you've mistyped it.

when i type mapname it just goes in list do i have to type some sort of command like mapname.something

Well, you need to type "map mapname" (no quotes), mapname being the name of the map you want to load. You don't literally need to type mapname.
