I don't want people to just start spamming the forums with update comments, but it has happened in the past.
We got no updates, someone decided to ask, David told us he's making trees, we got excited, blam, blog post about trees. That was hot stuff.

I am getting pretty tired of this thread. I am one full-time college student working with a very small part-time team spread throughout the world. The contract work I did during the school year took time away from Lugaru 2 and also really burnt me out on game programming for a while, and I am trying to recover from that. As I realised in another thread, the only way to develop games effectively is if it is fun for the developers, and this constant pressure to release updates is not helping.

Just wondering. And yes, it is good to have a job that is fun, especially an "artistic" one. Otherwise it gets boring and you can't come up with anything imaginative. Sit back and relax. I'd rather have L2 be out in 2 years and be awesome than having it come out in 6 months and suck.

And David just said himself what I've been trying to drive into all of you ever since I started seeing the pestering little comments about some person whining about not getting an update for a game they have no right to demand progress for. It's not as if we're dying anytime soon. Chill out and let them get on with it at their own pace.
