changing the lugaru sounds

Post by TomyLobo » Fri Jul 13, 2007 4:10 pm

i tried putting other sounds for "MetalHit.ogg" but whatever i try, it ends up getting played at about 50% the speed in-game. what might be the problem?

Make sure that you have encoded the sound at 22 kHz and not 44 kHz. Most sound utilities should be able to change that.

Also make sure that it's mono?

I don't know, saving the sounds as mono 22kHz Ogg Vorbis files using Audacity (free multi-platform sound editor) used to work for me.

No idea. Turning things into Ogg files with Switch and replacing 'em in data files has always worked for me in games with no extra editing necessary, Lugaru included.
