Texture mod of Lugaru 1 demo

Post by Funkdude » Sun Sep 09, 2007 3:13 am

Hi!

I' ve (texture) modded the downloadable demo of Lugaru 1, just to see how it looks, here are some pics :)

Too bad lugaru 1 doesnt feature bumpmaps, so i had to make shadows in the texture to make it look more real :) but ir looks neat anyway, i love the physics (kicking someone all over the screen  muhahaha)

Looks great! You might want to change the thread title though…

What I mean is, "Screenies" (Or whatever it was) isn't a very good description of what this thread's about.

yeah youre right :) it was the first i came up with :)

here' s another one,

i tried to make a chainmaille (medieval armor) pants, good thing is now i can use any texture in that template so loads of diffrent clothes are possible now,

is is possible to put a zip or rar archive online? so i can upload loads of pants at once fo people who like it can pick one and use it, would be cool i guess

You can put virtually any file online, including .zip and .rar archives.

Try MediaFire or RapidShare. Or you can check this thread.

After checking that thread, I found that rapidshare.de and rapidshare.com both exist, you can use either, though I suggest using a different file hosting site, due to the fact that RapidShare isn't the simplest of file hosting sites.

Huh. I think this is the first time anyone's tried modding lugaru with only the demo. ^_^ Nice work, anyway.

the download link

Post by Funkdude » Sun Sep 09, 2007 7:39 am

http://rapidshare.com/files/54443761/Pa ... 1.rar.html

here you can download the pantspack, use them at your own risk, and use the texturenames in the readme,
after renaming put the texture in the textures file and overwrite the original (after backing it up :) )the pants should appear ingame now

(some textures are better than others, i tested them all in the demo, i like the techy ones and the denim one best, im trying to use real photos for pack 2)

Looks good! two pieces of advice though. One, edit your first post instead of making a new one. It's no big deal, but it makes the forums neater. Two, for image hosting I really like bayimg.com. You can upload zip and rar files of images and have them all displayed, plus you don't need an account or anything.

Or you could edit your first post and post a new one. In this way people browsing through the thread can find everything in one place, and people who are active on the forums will know when you post an update.

I should clarify that I meant edit instead of posting two consecutive posts.
