I thought I just said that I could remember it being suggested, one reply before yours just now?

And?

I just don't understand the point in saying, already been suggested. If you at least put a quote or summarize what we already discussed about it before hand, then we could go from there. Otherwise what's the point, I don't even remember this being discussed ever, I would rather quickly reply to it now. I know for a fact that 80% of the ideas coming in since the past year have already been suggested, but that does not mean we should reply to everyone with, "already been suggested." Things can always be suggested more about.

Or you meant nothing you just like hearing yourself talk and telling people you remember things

No werewolves in L2, but possibly in another game sometime.

WHALES. AMIRITE? :O

Back into the realm of seriousness, I'd love to see some kind of flying animal. Maybe an eagle, as they're usually larger then rabbits.

well I suppose even though the eagles aren't humanized one still could be a bossish thing, or an enemy

David has stated somewhere that only mammals were affected by the big shiny events that anthropomorphized them. Note the squawker flying around every level of Lugaru, and its thorough lack of human qualities.

You would find the most worrisome caveat to the whole mammal thing.

The name 'flying squirrels' is misleading; they don't exactly fly, more like glide from tree to tree ... but that would be pretty sweet anyway :D

Then again, you wouldn't need flying squirrels or birds or anything of the sort if the debug option is included in the sequel to Lugaru 8)

Nonetheless, I always did kind of want some sort of tree climbing in Lugaru; imagine that, if the flying were tweaked so as to be more satisfying (like the exact opposite of Duke Nukem 64, the 'jetpack' in that game was so damned boring) and latching onto trees was just as fun as flying in the first place ...

*climbs tree*
*leaps into air*
*whoooooooooooooooosh*
*slams onto tree and sticks to it*
*leaps off of tree*
*lands on unsuspecting foe below*
DEATH FROM ABOVE!

:O Great idea Zippy! I'd love it if you would be able to latch on to objects like trees in L2.

*imagines climbing mountain only to be tackled by a wolf and sent flying off to catch a tree branch*

It would let you hide and attack more effectively...

Bats are the most common flying mammal (iirc). I don't think they will be in L2 though. That could be a cool future project :)
