Playing as a wolf in Lugaru II?

Post by Miyamoto Usagi » Tue Dec 11, 2007 10:09 am

It was a thought that occurred to me that it might be kinda cool. It could also broaden some MMO elements. Of course, they would have to be balanced - Rabbits with higher agility and speed, wolves with higher HP and attack-strength, though we'd want to make it a little more balanced than it was in Lugaru. It was hard to even survive a wolf in Lugaru, let alone beat one. D:

Just a thought, though, feel free to totally ignore me if you think it's retarded. x3

Actually I don't think there is a wolf campaign made at the moment for L1…

Why not?

We need one.

About the L2 idea-

I think there should be an alternate, but slightly harder Campaign where you play as a wolf. And for multiplayer, it would just be a model, it wouldn't affect your gameplay at all.

That would be awesome to have a Wolf campaign. Perhaps have one where a good Wolf doesn't want to savagely kill all the rabbits, but instead desires to battle fairly, which causes the other wolves to try to kill him. Imagine an ending where you finally confront the Turner, but you are quickly ambushed by a legion of wolves and rabbits and you team up with Turner to defeat them.

Rofl does anyone think this sounds like a bad rehash of the Alien Vs. Predator movie? Humans and predators? Wolves and rabbits? Which is more ridiculous? Rofl

Aliens vs. Predator is itself a bad rehash of another movie. Get over it.

So this is a bad rehash of a bad rehash of a movie? Interesting... we shall study this some more!

References ftw.

Myself, I like the idea.
Possibly it could end with the wolf meeting turner and BATTLING him, and as we have just been playing the wolf, and turner being the main character, o'course, then suddenly swap to turner to defeat the fair-play wolf, catching players off-guard on which character they are...

...neh, mibbie....

alien vs predator seemed more like a rehash of both the predator movies and the alien movies... lol

It was, but it was also a bad rehash of... well, most action movies with a 'twist'.
