My sister might be interested in that game actually..

Erm, anyway-

I view lugaru as more of a fighting game than an RPG, and a secondary wolf campaign makes perfect sense to me.

As long as we don't pull a halo and make the wolf an ally half-way through. We want the wolf and Turner to be at eachothers throats.

Turner vrs wolf combat would be strange, like beating your own pet to near-death.

Someone made a good point a while ago against what you just said. It would be conflicting to play as a wolf for half the game only to have to switch to the rabbit at the end and kill the wolf who you grew to love over the course of the game. Where would the purpose/incentive for playing the role of the wolf be?

Who ever said the final fight had to be between the two? And who ever said one had to kill the other?

Meh, there's too much of the wolves as enemies already. It seems vaguely racist to me. x3 I'd like some validation of the wolves as not purely hateful, eat-y creatures.

Other than that I really do think it'd be nice if they were working towards a common goal at the least, even if they didn't particularly like eachother.

What is Turner vs. wolf combat and how does it relate to beating your pet to near death.

If we had a turner and a wolf campaign, and their stories intertwined, at some point, they would have to fight.

If you liked the wolf, beating him up as turner would be hard for you, wouldn't it? Especially if you really got into the story.

The same with beating turner to near death.

You speak as though the concept of them being allies is still impossible. =o

Why would a wolf join with Turner?

Even if the wolves are going downhill, why would he go to the rabbits for help? They've been enemies for years as far as we know.

Besides, Turner seems a bit resentful towards wolves. I don't think he'd appreciate it.

Maybe it's a wolf that's become a vegetarian, and none of the other wolves will accept him :p

Even so, read that last part. Turner hates the wolves with a vengeance. Literally.

The wolf pretends to be a friendly who's a wolf-city outcast to get a chance to corrode rabbit society from within. After all, the rabbits have the secret weapon that could change wolf society forever - FIRE!!!!! *twist-chimes*
Turner is an actual outcast because of his generally asocial behavior after being pwned royally by life and not accepting the leadership position among all rabbits.
At first, they try to benefit from each other, the wolf doing his secret-agent-thing and Turner attempting to get a life with whatever fate throws at him.

Finally, one evening, after having way too much root beer, they make out. BADABUM!

But then, ANOTHER TWIST!! A meteor hits the rabbit capital. More than enough fire for the wolves! They attack...

Turner, internally torn apart by his deep love for the gay wolf agent and the brutal slaying of his kind, decides to fight his final battle to wrap all this mess up in a manlike manner.

Gay wolf agent, internally torn apart by his secret mission and the fear his wolf brothers find out he's got homosexual feelings towards other species, joins Turner to fight for nothing at all.

An epic clash of claws and fangs on a foggy dawn on top of the meteor crater...

Turner, still suffering from the hangover and the confusion rooting in his new-found gayness, fights half-heartedly. Only gay wolf agent can keep Turner from getting killed by his thoughtless, blind rage and the subtle vulnerability it is accompanied by.

But then, ANOTHER TWIST! *DUN_DUN_DUN_DUUUUUU* Earthquake, Turner dead, gay wolf agent fights everyone!

This is all of course gameplay with short scripted sequences. Dialogue is non-subtitled, just barking, howling, rabbit-screeching and the sort. Coop open-ended 60-player MP.

Turner is practical, if he needs to ally with a wolf to kill many more he might do it.

Well you said that you didn't want them to become allies.
But you don't want them to become enemies either.

So then, what exactly would be the point of having a game where you play two seperate characters who have nothing to do with each other?

Moral of the Story: Lugaru is not Shark Tale. :P
