I was obsessed with games that included ragdolls, and after many hours spent with google I got to the wolfire.com lugaru page, spent a month with the demo (This was three years ago, so I was 13 at the time) then convinced my parents to let me use their credit card to buy it. After seeing me play it they thought I was crazy for liking such a weird game.

I think it was either fun-motion or random googleing.

Might have been a mix of the two.

The latest copy of Netguide had a one-off "get the game free" deal going on. Not being the sort to turn my nose up at free stuff, I tried it.

A week later, and I can say with a fair degree of certainty that I'll be buying Overgrowth when it comes out.

Oh, and... [insert generic introduction blurb here]

For some reason, I've always shied away from preordering - although that's usually because preordering is more expensive.

Still, once I get a paypal account set up....

preordering in this case may be cheaper, as they might raise the price once the game's released. and you don't have to pay for shipping and handling no matter what.

Correct. Plus there's the bonuses, being the SPF, the alphas and later the betas, and of course the ability to boast about how you were in there since the alphas.
woot.

I found Wolfire through iDevGames before Lugaru existed.

Anyone who bought Lugaru before Overgrowth was announced should get a T-shirt with "I liked Wolfire before it was popular." on it.

Hell yea. I didn't buy it, but that's cuz my parents didn't trust the internet with their credit cards.
Anyways, I found it on the Apple Downloads section. I downloaded this (as said before, who wouldn't click on a pic of a bunny kicking another in the face?) and a few other classics.

And you should get "I liked Wolfire while you guys were busy asking for shirts"

My friends in 6th grade (4 years ago) told me about it, I downloaded it, and was almost instantaneously better than everyone else. Of course, the computer I downloaded it to was a school computer (they issued out mac laptops at the beginning of the year) and didn't know there was a Windows version available, so I never put it on my main home computer.

Recently (just before the free Christmas Lugaru deal, luckily) I googled "rabbit game" because I missed it; and sure enough, there it was in the image search.

I ended up here because of the "website" link in the Lugaru folder. I found the cool blog here pretty interesting and helpful (being a game designer myself) and began coming here every day to see the new blog post(s).
