you guys forgot the easiest one, and the most fun:
sweep kick, position yourself, crouch and stab... "slain"
if you get good, you can position yourself correctly and insta-kill the wolf 50% of the time

The only reliable way to get rid of wolf packs is to run away from them so that they form a line. Then, perform a leg-cannon or punch a corpse at them.
That works in maybe 20% of the cases.
The maximum of wolves I managed to kill in a pack is 3. I think killing more at a time is almost impossible.
If you want to train with wolves, build a training ground with the map editor. That way, you'll gain skills very fast.

Are you talking about hardest difficulty here?

How can it be reliable if it only works 20% of the time?

Perhaps because it is the best way so far? 'Reliable' is a relative term.

But there are better ways.
Such as the "Throw, rollgrab thing" method.

Those are more dangerous, in my opinion, at least. Because you have to get close to the wolves. And getting close to the wolves (we're talking packs, here, not single wolves) usually involves me getting killed. That may be due to my suckage, and then again, it may not.

Right clicking, "i", and "shift+i" tend to work well in debug mode.

Bleh, I know I've been out of the loop for too long when I forget what right clicking does ... then again, I just got a Mighty Mouse not even 3 weeks ago

With me, it ducks/reverses... interestingly enough, playing Lugaru a lot makes you suck at Oni, and vice versa. The two are so close, yet so far away, one from the other. In Oni, right click issues a Kick or Fire2 command, for those who forgot or didn't know.

Yeah, I noticed that when I first had bought Lugaru, and still being able
to play Oni (now that I've got Tiger, Oni doesn't work properly even with the
OmniGroup launcher/app).
