Re: Lotus Wolf's Weapon Shop
You accidentally typo'd CardboardTube.jpg as CarbaordTube.jpg. You should fix either the name of the file or the name of the file your IMG tag links to, since it doesn't show up otherwise.

that looks...kinda like one the alter weapons for voldo in soulblade/soulcaliburgameman581 wrote:Hey, your weapons look really awesome, and I have a request, I dunno if this has been asked for yet but it would be cool if you could make a katar (knife replacement) not sure how well it will work...
P.S. how do you put the weapons into the game, is there a specific file I have to put them into?

Re: Lotus Wolf's Weapon Shop
are you kiddin' me? have you ever played diablo 2 LOD? that image is pretty much a high-res version of the assassin's starting weapon: the katar.blood-shard wrote:gameman581 wrote:

Re: Lotus Wolf's Weapon Shop
Either way, it's in both games. As long there is a picture about how the weapon is, I don't think it matters from which games it has being shown, especially from a common weapon anyway, lol.

Re: Lotus Wolf's Weapon Shop
wait, did you mean how to put the weapons i made into the game? if so, the files come with readme, and you put the .SOLID file into Lugaru>Data>Models and you put the images (textures) into Lugaru>Data>Textures.gameman581 wrote:P.S. how do you put the weapons into the game, is there a specific file I have to put them into?

Re: Lotus Wolf's Weapon Shop
Yeah, in case you want to revert the changes.gameman581 wrote:do I have to replace the files? like should I back it up or what?
Re: Lotus Wolf's Weapon Shop
Just as a silly weapon, do you think you could make a CD throwing knife? If not, I don't really care.

i was actually already going to.
Re: The Weapon Shop
Hey guys, we've decided to merge my thread with Lotus' so that anyone can post their work here.
Anyway...
Some of you may know me from IRC, but this is my first post on the forums. While I played the Lugaru demo endlessly in the past, I had never had a chance to try it out till now.
I decided to try my hand at making a weapon. First off, huge thanks to Lotus Wolf for help on optimizing and converting the original files, as well as Arch3r, Silverfish, and Frigid for their help in converting my first draft. I was unsure of how to convert .x files to .solids on a mac, and had trouble figuring out what to do with Java.
Anyway, here's my first weapon!
The Falcata
Only 24 Gold Pieces here.
Hopefully I'll be making more in the future, so requests will be considered!
