And I have a request - a batarang!

I know you have a ton of other stuff to do, no hurry!
YES. I usually call them "batstars", though.

Re: The Weapon Shop
I have another question, I didn't know where to put this and didn't want to go to the trouble of starting a new topic.
If I want to edit a texture, say Turner's fur, which image is his in the texture folder, and do I need to edit any file other than that one?

fur3.jpg, and no you don't have to edit anything else. Batarang sounds good, I'll make it after everything else.

Re: The Weapon Shop
Lotus, is the wolf in your avatar oddly distorted and wearing clothes?

This is late, but I may be willing to do it for you.Lotus Wolf wrote:Thanks, I've slowed down a lot due to school, but there's much more to come.
If anyone wants to texture the weapon models I haven't textured yet, I'll send them to you.
Also, I finally figured out how to make blender not-work-like-a-piece-of-crap on my new computer, so I may start making weapons again.

Sweet!
Hope you're aware of the new importers / exporters I wrote: http://www.alice-dsl.net/wolf.mathwig/tools/py/
These are scripts for Blender. Brainfart is dead at this point.

Re: The Weapon Shop
Two hours and a rudel's export scripts and what do you know, new weapon!
I'm not totally satisfied with it so it'll be a wip for now, but nonetheless, I'm amazed at how much easier the process has become.
Basically a machete-looking weapon, styled after the Talon dagger.
Also: Preview of my next weapon!

Re: The Weapon Shop
Woo-hoo! Thanks, Stromboli! The machete looks great, and looks really right with the "slashing" animation in-game!
I'll reload the Ancestral Tales campaign with it when I figure out how to do it and tweak a couple of maps.
Cheers!
