Archaic isn't much of a definition. What time period did it come from? Because I looked it up, and there's atleast three time periods considered Archaic.

Whatever. It's a fancy ancient symbol that means something somewhere to someone. To us, it just looks cool.

Exactly. However:

Archaic didn't evolve like most languages. It is a property of the universe, a thing to be discovered by the clever or perceptive - not something to be invented, nor a language that evolved or changes over time. Of course under the right circumstances the Archaic language may more easily be seen or discovered, but even then to effectively grasp its intonations and conceptions, it helps to be highly intelligent and unusually perceptive. Besides, it is a difficult language to master, for it is not just of sounds, nor only symbols, but of the mind as well.

Also:

Bestowing an Archaic symbol on the blade of a knife would give the weapon a special quality, though it would lay dormant in the lines of the inscription until one who knows how to draw out the magic within the symbol gripped the knife and uttered the symbol's name with the exact effect envisioned in his mind.

So:

Those who know this symbols name, and it's effect, could theoretically use this knife to a greater advantage, even in-game.

Have you made something along the lines of a tanto yet? Like a Japanese knife?

I just realized that I never uploaded one of my weapons! As some of you know, I made this a long time ago, and was frustrated with scaling. However I'm gonna release this as is. Enjoy!

I'm calling it the Steppe Longsword, forged by the desert hares, far outside imperial influence. This weapon has proved it's worth in the wilderness of Lugaru, and can be yours for a measly 30 Gold coins. Mention the rebellion, however, and you can have yours for free.

Note the runic symbol of the ancient desert kings.

There's a modifier for reducing the number of faces automatically, you could try that:

Don't forget to Apply.
