I think that's pretty common knowledge my friend. But i tried the KO attacks on the Alpha wolf, not the spine-crusher, but the back-stabber, and Trecheonometry. They DID NOT instant-kill him, had to try it a few more times. (on insane)

I'm just saying that when I've used the spinecrusher on the Alpha Wolf, it's always killed him. Usually I've only tapped him a couple of times before doing that, too, so he's at nearly full health.
And yes, this was on Insane, that wonderful difficulty where wolves survive two leg cannons to the face and keep on coming.

nice
I would have thought that all the instant-kill attacks would deal the same, or progressively more damage as you change between weapons...

Somehow I often have trouble timing the leg-cannon correctly... too often I get nabbed by the legs and sometimes thrown on the floor or manage to roll away...
Rarely a direct hit.

I remember my dad started playing this for a while. He never got very far, but he was interested. He never. EVER used an attack unless he saw an absolutely brilliant oppertunity.
That's right. He fought using entirely reverses. It took a while to kill things, but nothing ever killed him. So maybe that's something I've got to learn.

Damn straight I have an epic dad! If it weren't for him I'd have never played the original Doom or Quake 3 arena- the most awesome FPS of all time. Well, in my opinion.

I do agree that they ARE awesome. Very much.
Most awesome? I couldn't and wouldn't say.

when i was still learning how to play, all i used was reversals, and until i figured out all the moves, and enemy movements, i started attacking. from then till now, i've been coming up with combinations of moves that get maximum efficiency. like the backhandspring-leg cannon. it almost always is a direct hit, and catches them very surprised. andother one that i'm sure someone has tried, is the corpes-cannon, where you hit a body at someone. im getting pretty good at that.

I used to never use any of the weapons, I would always use the unarmed cause it took longer and made the battles a little more intense.

Yes! The corpse-cannon. I use it a lot in levels with multiple wolves, 'cos I fail too hard to nick them all single-handedly within ten tries x3
Now backhandspring + legcannon I have not tried...
Oohhhh, I have a new toy to play with!

let them get about 5 feet away (very close) and then start back-handspringing untill they are in ful pursuit, but keep them at a steady distance of the five feet, then switch and leg cannon them! it works almost always for me.

It's not really unusual, but I remember that in the early stages of the game everything died and later on it got harder. Not because of the wolves, not because of the game's increasing difficulty, but because there were less knives.
Knives are the best weapon in the game, in close combat they can easily tear apart an unarmed or knife wielding opponent, and if the other guy has a sword or staff, just throw the knife.
Oh man the throwing. Through debug, I can beat the campaign with a knife without touching anyone. At all.
Throwing knives is best when used as a surprise, like, an enemy walks round a corner- BAM IN THE FACE.
Epic trick- On the level with the raider camp fort thingy where you get your armor back at the end, there's those two annoying guards outside, right? I stood on one side, stealthily so they didn't see me. So basically there was a thin wall between me and them. I jumped, flipped, threw, flipped and landed. The guard was dead before I hit the floor, and the other guy was still stunned from the second flip, just enough time for me to rabbit kick him into a brick.

Now this was interesting. You know the Throne Room level in Temple, right? Totally impossible in Insane mode, near as I can tell. Just trying to survive (with no offense in mind), I jumped in at the enemies from the side, did a flip to confuse 'em, and then landed and tried to do a leg cannon at one of the wolves. Only thing is, he went off the edge, so I had nothing to hit, so I went off the edge, and as I'm falling, I see the rabbit and the other wolf also went off the edge. Wham, wham, wham, wham, we all hit ground in the space of a second or so, me last for some reason.
And then when the loading screen's done, I'm back at the first level as Feng! And when I'm done talking to the rabbits, the level ends...and I go to the level where Niels and Sven are talking about revenge!
So, to recap:
1) Abused AI to get it to leap to its death
2) Fell to my death too
3) This counted as a level clear
4) But sent me to the first level after instead of the actual next level
5) But after that I'm back on track!
