Lotus : You can use my texture pack for Lugaru 1.5, that's not an issue !
On my side, I don't really know if I want to push the quality even higher for Lugaru HD, my own pack, not yours. I really want to release the final pack but I'm not sure when to say "ok, it's done". There will be always things to tweak, replace, improve, it's a neverending task. Sticking with textures is a good deal I think. Otherwise, I'll wait for Overgrowth.

I don't really plan to spend more time on it.
I know some elements could be more polished , like the green tone of the grass, the desert trees, etc... But I can't allow myself to spend more time on this project : I'm a freelance designer and I have a LOT of things to do.
Otherwise, if someone want to take Lugaru HD and try to make it even better, it would be great and I'll gladly host it (if the quality deserves it).
Hint : if you show me an ugly screen because of a texture of mine, I'm sure I'll do anything to improve it because I can't bear bad work...

What about character textures? Could you whip up some HD textures for the bunnies? Or does that not apply well...?

I made some experiments with the characters but because of the lack of polygons, you won't really notice the difference between the HD version and the SD one.
