Touch of Death is achieved like Heavy Impact, except the impact kills the victim, rather than just knocking them unconscious.

This usually happens while wielding a staff, or Rabbit Kicking the enemies, as they go flying with either hit.

I thought heavy impact was if you killed someone by slamming them into something and touch of death was when you killed them with your bare hands.

It is, but Heavy Impact only knocks them unconcious. . . and in some cases, they get up again.

Touch Of Death is when they die instantly, without being knocked out first.

Ways of acheiving Heavy impact: - Tackle a retreating foe
Hit them into a wall hard
Knock them from a tall height

Ways of acheiving Touch Of Death: - Leg Cannon them into a rock or a wall.
Knock them from a really really really stupidly tall height.

That makes sense. And obviously, none of them work with a weapon.


Except the staff. Otherwise known as the death-stick.

I forgot to mention that, Count. Thanks for reminding me. Although it's really really hard to land on them.

The problem with the staff is that they always jump back, and it annoys the crap outta me, so its usually the knife throw, the flip-to-backstab or hand-to-hand. i only use the stick when i steal it off them so i can take out some stress on their downed bodies :twisted:

I LUV MY DEATH-STICK.

Staff v staff fights are always fun as well. They do jump back alot, but the AI are stupid, so they'll just run back at you and- KERTHWACK.

Teeth and blood all over the floor. :D

Haha, for me, it's the sword, theres nothing like a good Slaying if you nick in the chance. Especieally (can't spell right now) after i counter them :wink:

I'm starting to like the sword more lately...mainly because I've figured out how to use it effectively without getting countered. It requires a lot of movement, i.e. standing still while slashing is not effective.

Really? I find it easier to stand still and hold the attack button.

Then run and do it again.

Just hold the attack button. The sword is then devastating.

yeah, but I read in the manual or in one of these threads that if you slash someone they'll bleed to death but it never happens. :evil:

I'm a horror with the sword, i have yet to figure out how to successfully roll over someone and stab them into the ground.
The best i can do is backstabber :S

Spinecrusher is easily my favorite opening/finishing move, maybe DEATHSTICKING is fun, especially when they go flying right into a wall.

I'm not so pro at lugaru, when i'm getting hurt i usually resort to spamming shift, w, and clicking.
