Short answer: no, it isn't a reference to a Chinese Dowager Empress.

Slightly longer answer: I wanted the general to be after someone who was important but not necessarily the center of government. Dowager means the queen's or empresses' husband has died and it was he who had hereditary claim to the thrown and now, with him dead, the official king is his son.

still, it achieved the sense of other things going on in the world, and that was your intention, no? :)

Yes, it was.

I've always created stories, even since I was little. When I was learning addition and subtraction I would create stories about the numbers to explain why some were adding together and others were subtracting. This kind of overactive imagination has been with me all my life and was a big help in creating the back story to each task.

There was supposed to be a dialogue with the giant, which explained some of the back story, but every time I added a dialogue it simply wouldn't exist; I even checked with hex edit, it wasn't in the map. If the dialogue had remained you would have learned that the deal was : Long ago giant rabbits gave up granting wishes and the Seneschals were formed to take up that mantle. This giant rabbit knew some small rabbits were coming, to sacrifice the one in the box for a wish, and the giant wanted to be left alone. The giant rabbits swore never to kill anyone, so this one asked the Seneschals to do it for him, and he summoned a sandstorm to slow down the caravan and give Yew a chance to catch up to them.

open the world texture in paint and hover over where you want the dot to be. at the bottom there will be two numbers. put those, in order, in the campaign file under the level they correspond to. not really that hard. :|

Thank you. And for the record, it is 'all that hard' when you've been at it for three hours straight with a head ache!

But once again , I thank you.
