Best name for the campaign "hero".

There is no "I don't care" or "I don't know" option(those are stupid) so if you don't care or don't know, just don't vote. (duh)

There is no "None of the above" option. I will use one of those names, period. Please don't post your own ideas for the hero's name; I'll ignore it. Like I said, it will be one of the above.

This poll will continue for a couple of weeks; Then I'll tally it up!

These names remind me of myself typing random letters (random as in not having a specific idea of what name I want to create, not typing random letters and getting an incomprehensible word) in order to get a good name for a character on a MUD or even in a forum RP. Same sort of style.

For the names, since I'm such a story nerd I looked 'em up on a couple of baby name lists.

No matches in Arabic or Persian by my lazy search... did you plan that, or are they from another language group?

Be bad to find out your hero's name meant "little garden gazebo" or "melon-arse" or such.

Did find out that "Barack" means "blessing", OK...
And that "Dima" means "downpour", which would be an awesome name if you came from a really arid part of the world.

Not sure when this is in the "history" of Lugaru but it follows a rabbit who has been enslaved by wolves from neighboring islands. He realizes that the only way to survive in these times is to become a tyrant and forget the peaceful ways of the past.

Just be prepared for an evil main character!

Good to know there are more story-dorks out there in the gaming world.

Making a campaign is kinda like writing and directing your own Kung Fu movie, except cheaper.

i hate to bring it up, but are you on a mac or not? because... mac's are the only ones that can do dialogues the normal way. the others have to use hex editing, or find some other means... anyway, hope you are on a mac, or can figure out one of the other ways. (if you figure out the other ways, tell us please.)

If you are going to make a game based on Lugaru's world (which you probably are, since you have 'Lugaru' in your game's title), you should also make names that are consistent with the names in Lugaru. The rabbits in Lugaru have a mix of English nouns and typical English names loosely related to rabbits: Turner, April, Jack, Aspen, Skipper, Fiver, Hunter and Hickory. Wolves seem to have more environmental names: Smoke and Snow. Make names for your characters with these in mind. Don't just bash your keyboard and call that a name.

Lugaru is a big island, and the imagination is near infinite. I see no reason for him not to use this style of names. They could easily be some separate clan of rabbits, with a different culture, or something similar to so.


Also, neither of the names I voted for are in the lead
