Anyone know of a really cheap --free, even --graphics program like paint or photoshop that'll work on my PPc4 iMac?
It doesn't need to be remotely as versatile as those. I just want to make small mods to existing skins for characters in a campaign... mess with eyes, etc. Something really primitive would serve nicely.
Any suggestions? Things to avoid?
Thanks for all help!

Gimp.
http://gimp.lisanet.de/Website/Overview.html think you need x11 to run it, that should be available for download from apples website, or installed on your computer, or you may still have that boot disc thing that came with your computer. anyway when I needed it apples website was messed up so I had to look like crazy for it. I think I could probably upload it somewhere for you if you want.

Thanks, Count!
Yeah, it says it needs x11. I'll try to get it off apple.

uhm and if you have tiger or >10.3 than you might want to check out this site http://cjmart.in/2006/12/01/install-x11 ... stall-dvd/ cause last I checked apple didn't offer the 10.4 one or w.e.

paint.net
no, its not a website its a program you can download, its more simple and much faster than gimp but it gets glitchy at if you have a super huge pic

I found that Paint.NET is like a basic version of Photoshop.
Therefore, I find it VERY useful.

agreed, if you want a free program paint.net is the best, gimp takes forever to load and a lot harder to learn
