eyeCube MapPack

Post by eyeCube » Mon Mar 02, 2009 8:56 pm

I've made a map pack (replacing challenges 1-14), because I'm too lazy to make a campaign.

A few of the maps were supposed to be a part of a campaign, but still function as challenge maps without dialogue.

Lotus Wolf has provided a mirror a couple of posts down if you can't get this one to work.

More info is in the ZIP readmes (guides, etc...)

Any questions, comments, or whatever; post below.

Very challenging!!! Great maps! Haven't beaten all of them yet, they're very hard! (For me)

i'll attach it. anyway, level 3 (as far as i've gotten at this point) is quite a challenge, what with ridiculously overpowered enemies and all. very good levels, the newer people seem to have a lot more patience for the editor... :P

Thanks, yes- I know they're challenging. A guide is included (easiest ways to beat the levels, etc..) if they're too hard. Also, you can always skip them. If you do, I recommend going to level 14, which is my favorite. Everything is explained in the text documents, but I'll repost some of it here:

Maps 1 and 2 were created by my friend Damien (Kuldes). All other maps were made by me.
Map 4 was a part of my Raider Campaign, where you kill Turner's friends and family in the village.
Map 7 (I think, I'll check later) is a part of my assassin campaign. I never did anything with it.

BTW, @Lotus Wolf: I'm not new to Lugaru, just to Wolfire.

These maps did take a long time to make, I'll admit, about 3 days I think, (a few hours a day) but I have a lot of free time on my hands recently.

Edit: map pack placed in wiki (if that's okay- if not, I'll remove it)

All you have to do is refresh the page; the download will work :p

But thanks to Lotus Wolf, you probably have them already.

Some interesting levels. Had fun. Except for the super strong rabbits (map 3?) and the giant. Roundhouses and rabbit kicks don't work that well against the super strong ones, since it's easy for them to counter, and one counter usually equals death in that map. But overall, I liked them, including your friend's. Good work.

Yeah, I think the easiest way to kill the super-powered bunnies is knocking them into each other and leg cannonning. A successful leg cannon is a one-hit-kill, and results in the enemy evaporating into a cloud of blood.

Edit: As for the level with the giant, try a spine-crusher. It's hard to get it right; get as close to him as you can.

No, i leg cannoned a rabbit 6 times and he still got up, i ended up using a surprise spine crusher on him when he got up from the 6th one.

@Lotus Wolf:
In level three? Really? Are you sure you're talking about the right level?

Weird. I'll have to check that out. Can you be more specific? Which bunny was it?

Just finished it. My only problem was with the giant bunny. I couldn't use rabbit kick, so it was hard for me. Nice challenges!
