Lugaru Linux?

Post by Blorx » Mon Mar 28, 2005 11:46 am

I thought that since David is putting Lugaru on Windows, why not put it on Linux? I had an x86 user say this "I think that if someone takes the time to port something to linux, then it deserves atleast a try." And it's true. So, what do you all think? It would be alot easier than porting to Windows...

Sounds like a great idea to me. Then linux gaming sites would brag about it but it might not happen since david is very busy.

this would be excellent, but not probable. I love linux (i am typing on free bsd right now), but it is hard to port to witht he libraries David uses. if he would only switch to SDL... (which is extremely cross-platform).

Why don't you use SDL_mixer?

I think Mac OSX is closer to Linux than it is to Windows.

It is, simply because Mac OSX is Unix and Unix came from Linux

I may be wrong...more like it's a variation of Linux or something...I don't have a Linux...
