Debug not working

Post by SomeGuy » Thu Mar 31, 2005 8:37 am

I changed debug to 1 in config.txt but when I tried to save, Text Edit said you can't save in simple text, and you have to use rich text (rtf). Will it work in rich text? If not, how am I supposed to turn debug on?

Use SimpleText, found in your OS 9 applications.

Download the Developer Tools. They have an OSX compatible version. Almost forgot to login...

Or..
Open up your config file in text edit, change whatever you want.
Press cmd-shift-T
Save
Navigate back to the Lugaru Data directory and save it as "config.txt".

After that you would have to do the conversion dance every time you change something.

this is sad. Blorx, one shouldn't download the dev tools just for an osx version of simple-text.
If you really know how to program, right a program which allows you to edit the preferences, GUI style.

You could always use BBEdit lite, or Textwrangler
