what happens when you actually buy Lugaru?

I am considering composing a persuasive essay to convince my mom that she should let me buy Lugaru & Overgrowth, as we share a computer. But i want to know how lugaru will be delivered to my computer before i buy it. Will i be able to have Lugaru on multiple computers for the same price? I have recently gone through several computers that i didn't have the password for, and i am worried that if i do buy the game, I won't be able to use it if my antique mac goes to craigslist. (The demo works perfectly, so I'm not worried about it crashing my computer). Someone just tell me the details of delivery so I can have some evidence in my essay. (if you really want me too, i"ll post it when i'm done )

When you buy it, you get an email with a reusable serial code. All you have to do is dl the demo and enter in the code, and it's full version! I thought it was a clever system until I realized that you can just give people your code. Needless to say, I felt really stupid.
