Lugaru won't start properly

Hi, I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and I cannot get this game to start properly. When I try to start it I hear the game music and a black screen shows up, but then it automatically minimizes to the desktop, but I can still hear the music playing. If I click on the icon in the taskbar the black screen comes up for a few seconds but then minimizes again. I'm running it as administrator. What should I do?

I couldn't tell you, bro. Check your graphics drivers. What model graphics card do you have?

Yeah, I have Win7 64-bit on an ASUS laptop and it runs fine.

Registered to report that I'm experiencing this exact problem. Played the demo for Lugaru years ago but finally picked it up today in the pay what you want bundle.

Very dissapointing that it won't even launch.

Running an nVidia GTX 285, Win7 x64, latest drivers.

I hope somebody can help.

EDIT: Fixed my problem, turns out a simple reboot fixed it, how odd.
