Lugaru on Debian x64

The opening screens ... I assume that's supposed to be text. They're just boxes. Grey screen with one large white box at the top, three clickable white rectangles down the side, and one square white box as my pointer.

Any ideas?

Never mind - apparently that happens if you run lugaru from anywhere outside its own directory. "Fixed", anyway!
