Game crashes in first fight

Post by moyes » Tue May 18, 2010 11:33 am

OKay so I've searched the forum for a while and can't find anyone with the same problem as me;

Game loads fine and I can play the tutorial. But the first fight you have in campaign mode causes the game to crash. (I think at the end of the fight). I've turned blood off. Running on a standard windows XP machine.

Thanks in advance

What are the specifications of the machine?
Can you give the model number?

Well I made the system myself so no model number or anything but the specs are;

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.4GHz
Memory: 3070MB RAM

Display Devices
Card name: ASUS X1600 Series
Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
Memory: 512MB RAM

It plays most games perfectly including assasins creed, lots of SDL based games

I have the same problem. It happens when I beat any of the rabbits in challenge mode, too. After some sparring, I hit them, they look for a moment like they might go down, Lugaru crashes to the Windows desktop.

I'm on a Thinkpad laptop: 1.86 GHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, 256 MB ATI Mobility Radeon X600, with Windows XP. I tried turning off blood in Lugaru, but no dice.

Pity, I was really looking forward to this after some of the others in the Humble Bundle, so any help would be appreciated!

Well, this hardly seems the problem, but I would recommend turning down all the graphics to their minimums. Turn off slo-mo, blur, decals, etc. Turn down detail. Play with the resolution settings. Try turning it to 640x480. Or you could uninstall it, delete the registry file and install again..?
