Entering registration key erases all game progress

Hi,

I recently re-installed Windows XP Pro and the first game I installed was Lugaru (mostly because I wanted to test OpenGL and EA's Battlefield games, the only other games I play in Windows, are huge).

After testing OpenGL with a couple rounds of Lugaru, I went on and installed more stuff and forgot to enter my registration key.

So, I'm playing campain mode just now on Insane difficulty and I get the registration required to continue screen. No biggie, just find my key and enter it...

But after I entered the key, my progress has been erased!
How frustrating!

Though it's too late for me, this should be fixed for others.

It's true, that's annoying. I just wanted to play the new levels.
I had actually been careful to quit before the end of the last level on the demo so I wouldn't have to play any of the old levels.
Oh well. Minor inconveniance.
