That would mean that protection itself makes you heavier, as opposed to the weight of the actual armour making you heavier. A stronger, lighter material for armour would be impossible with this system, since it's strength would actually make it heavier. How the hell does that work?

Good point... We might scrap that.
Anyway, as far as armor gose, I think It might be physics based, not painted on so it might be for the best.

I think in that case, we must change the idea on how we look at armor.

Hmm...

Armor works: Armor must be put on. Diferent armors weigh diferent amounts, are thicker than some, and vairiable in type.

Wearing armor will weigh you down, depending on what level of weight they are programed to (escuse any ignoreance on Physics engines and such as i do not know how they work fully) Whering really hevy armor will cost more energy to move, and pentaly your Balence and ragdoll movments (I think thats what they are).
Leather armors will Allow more movment than plate or chain, but still lower your agility by a small fraction. Cloth will offer a great deal of Soft body and make the game politicly correct, some might be a little resistant against cutting, but hey, maye you wana run around like a nudest like in L1? And there are more ways to war than just Melee.

They have to pay translators to translate the manuals into Engrish for them.

(nb: Languages, whether real or fictional, are proper nouns. That means Capitalisation!)

Im your man!

I guse why I became so good at it was because Greyswander told me prior my um... exile? to be Great like a Ten foot tall farting ninja that farts flames, so first of, if I was to ever become that, other than eating mounds of oyoins with Olive oil and ampel supply of flintstones, I also had to get a Batuler in Engrish, language of the Ninja.

MEDIC!!

I'd like chicken in Lugaru 2. As pets.

To fight with. Flail them around to stun your enemy.
