I think the best way to beat that level is:
Kill the rabbits, then kill the wolves :P

In other words: just get better at surviving wolves, try to get one at a time

P.S I haven't beaten that level yet, either; I just get hurt too much that I can't quite get the last wolf; then again, I can't really handle a single wolf if he has "standard strength", I found that out while testing my own level: Desert Wanderers

I think I beat it on the first or second try. (on insane) Not too hard really. Take out the bunnies on the sides first, then use the knives that you get, on the wolves. Get used to throwing a knife, then leg sweeping the wolf, run over it, shift+Q. (assuming you have default controls) That will take the knife right back out...Instant kill. Another thing that helps while doing this, is to master the jump+flip+throw move. If you do it REALLY fast its hard to miss.

that level is quite the bitch. the funny thing is the time i finally beat it i think i got hurt once in all. had a hell of a run. killed all the bunnies by throwing knives and just beat up the wolves really well.

The pulling out knife move sounds really good, i just wish i could figure out how to get it to work :x

The wiki has a lot of strategy for improving your skills. There are a ton of tips like the insta-kill dagger pickup trick. Check it out: http://wolfire.com/wiki

Rather than writing a long post, I updated the wiki at level 11 (here) for a way of finishing in 42 seconds 8)

I guess you'll have much more trouble with level 13 and 14 though... They're just evil.

I was going to say that same thing. 11 isn't much compared to the last two. Have fun!

umm the dagger pullout isnt working as an insta-kill for me. Is there some requirement other than pulling the dagger out of his chest that I am missing.

Hmmm...odd. It always works for me. And I know other people that it works for as well. Are you really pulling it out, and it doesn't die?

I am pulling it out but the wolf isnt dying. There is even a blood spot from where it came from. This is on a wolf in Challenge 4. I'm not that good at the game so I can't do it on a reliable basis, but I have done it:
I hit the wolf again after pulling it out (slice so I know I got the knife out of him) and then he bitch slaped me and I died. As far as I can tell from what you said that shouldnt be possible. Maybe it isnt a gurantee kill and I just got really unlucky, although Jeff's comment makes it sound like it is truly an insta-kill.

Yes, it is an insta-kill. I do it all the time when a knife is the only weapon I have (swords and staves make it really easy ). I still don't know why it wouldn't be working for you though...next time you succeed in doing it, let me know if it works that time.

Aren't you talking about "SLAIN"?

It sounds like it should be "Legsweep, run near wolf on ground, crouch and attack with knife"

(I forgot about that one, I just don't bother to use it, but it's great when it works, never tried it on a wolf though)

No, its not "SLAIN". But I have tried that...it seems a bit harder to master then what I was talking about, but it is a good move.

It's the same technique you can use to pull knives out of a dead rabbit or one that has just been tripped(easier than using a reversal to disarm).
You run at the downed enemy, roll and press Q(or whatever you have bound your pickup key to), and you will roll over them and pick up the knife/pull it out of their back in one smooth motion.
